Smaug won’t be the only one sitting on gold once the final ‘Hobbit‘ movie makes its way to theaters across the US. ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies‘ is expected to earn $75 million by Sunday.
The movie is set to expand to 3,850 locations in the United States starting Wednesday December 17th.
So far international results for ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies‘ have been incredible. The final movie came in ahead of the two previous ‘Hobbit‘ films, with $122.2 million from 15,395 screens in 37 markets. Not bad at all!
