The first short footage of Daniel Radcliffe‘s interview for Tom Felton Meets the Superfans BBC Three documentary was unleashed on the Internet today. In it, the Harry Potter actor mentions that being a obsessed with a book series like Harry Potter isn’t that bad when you compare it to other things:
“If you’re going to be obsessed with something, being obsessed with a series of books or films is pretty good. Some people are obsessed with herion.”
We’re going to go ahead and agree with Radcliffe; book lovers are just people who love to explore and escape to other worlds by the combining the words the author has written and our imaginations. No harm in that — even if we do get a little obsessed. We’ve heard so many stories of how books changes people’s lives for the better or helped them get through tough things, so never be ashamed of your book obsession, fanpeople!
