Muggles, listen up! Hot Buttebeer is officially a thing now—and apparently it tastes great! J.K. Rowling’s signature drink made its yummy debut at Universal Orlando‘s Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Friday. Orlando has only offered ‘frozen’ and ‘regular’ versions of the delicious drink previously. The hot version comes just in time for the winter holidays!
People.com was able to experience the hot Harry Potter drink, describing it as:
So how is it? Like its cold cousins, it’s sweet, but also creamy and caramel-rich, with a definite coffee-free latte vibe. In other words, it’s what Potterheads have always wished they could order at Starbucks.
The drink sells for $4.99 at The Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron eateries at the theme parks. It joins the two cold Butterbeer versions as well as a new Butterbeer soft-serve ice cream unveiled this summer at the grand opening of the new Diagon Alley expansion.
Well, now I have a huge craving for a hot Butterbeer and a side of Butterbeer soft-serve ice cream. If you find yourself at Universal Orlando‘s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, be sure to try this!
