Since the Harry Potter series ended, J.K. Rowling has stuck to writing mostly adult stories, whether it be under her own name or her pseudonym, Robert Galbraith.
Recently, though, she has been submerged back in the world of Harry Potter with penning the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay and the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage production. And just recently Rowling told BBC host Simon Mayo that she may soon give the world another children’s book! *insert roar of cheers here*
“I’m not going to give you an absolute date because things are busy enough, but I will definitely write more novels as JK Rowling,” the author revealed. “I have so many ideas. I have written part of a children’s book that I really love so there’s will be another children’s book and I have ideas for other adult books. I sometimes worry I’ll die before I’ve written them all out. That’s my mid-life crisis.”
