S Y N O P S I S

When nine-year-old Madeline Snow goes missing from a parking lot in a sleepy Massachusetts town, the whole community follows the seemingly dead-end search with bated breath – including sisters Nick and Dara Warren. The girls, once joined at the hip, have become estranged after a violent car crash leaves Dara scarred and Nick with almost no memory of the hours leading up to the accident that changed their lives forever.

But when Dara disappears on the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Nick is convinced that something has gone terribly wrong, and she’s determined to track her sister down. The more Nick uncovers about her enigmatic sister and the double life she led before the accident, the more unsure she is that she wants to know the truth. But the stakes are getting higher, propelling her forward and backward in time, willing her to expose the link between these two vanishing girls.

Daniel Radcliffe in ‘HORNS’ OFFICIAL Teaser Trailer and Poster (2014)

Lionsgate has just released the official teaser trailer and poster for Horns. Directed by Alexandre Aja, the fantasy horror film is based on the novel by Joe Hill. The film, which stars Daniel Radcliffe, made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival last year (2013), and now has a UK release date of October 31st, 2014 (Halloween. How fitting!) As for the U.S. trailer (and probably the release date, too)? Author Joe Hill had this to say on his blog:

“I suppose this is as good a time and place as any to mention that I will be at San Diego Comic Con this summer, with Daniel Radcliffe and director Alexandre Aja, to do a panel for HORNS. Expect the US poster and trailer then. We’ll probably be showing some clips, too. I’m only a little nervous. We all signed a deal with the devil; I’m sure he’ll take care of everything.”

DANIEL RADCLIFFE - HORNS

Without further ado, check out the trailer:

And the poster:

Daniel Radcliffe in HORNS

Plot: “Horns,” a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses — an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.

Will you be heading to theaters to see this film? It’s not a young adult book/movie, but surely a lot of young adults are interested supernatural fantasy and horror. And Daniel Radcliffe. Surely a lot of young adults are into him.

THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves.
