Capitol Couture Have Released Issue 4 Titled ‘Fida Coeur’ Featuring Peeta and Johanna

Capital Couture have released their 4th issue and it’s called Fida Coeur. The issue features Peeta Mellark and Johanna Mason. Capitol Couture also released ‘Capitol Citizen Living Portraits’ (videos) of Peeta and Johanna as their first. Click here to see Peeta’s Living Portrait, and here to see Johanna’s.

Peeta Mellark

Peeta Mellark: Spirit of Strength
Peeta stands tall and true in his Capitol Citizen Living Portrait, his matte leather Unconditional ensemble showcasing a stone-like texture and channeling the victor’s quiet strength, completed by shirt and shoes courtesy of Maison Martin Margiela. The paper collar piece, designed by David Mason, mirrors the sculptural elements in Johanna’s dress and gives a stern ambiance to the baker’s son. With an unprecedented two victories under his belt, Peeta is no longer the boy who bravely faced the 74th Hunger Games, but a true Capitol hero.

Johanna Mason

Johanna Mason: Statuesque Allure
As our Quarter Quell victors, Peeta Mellark and Johanna Mason hold the distinct honor of being the first Capitol citizens featured within a Living Portrait. Here we see Johanna in an exquisite Alon Livne creation that “juxtaposes the flowing drapery of classic statuary while the super modern and sculptural iridescent white bodice references the branch motif of the Panem Seal.” With plunging lines and slits as daring and divine as the warrior woman herself, every element of Johanna’s ensemble (including her Alexander Wang shoes and hand-carved marble bangles by Chen Chen and Kai Williams) exudes her fierce strength and enduring pride- a true darling of the Capitol.

I’m starting to feel like I’m part of Panem because of all the amazing propaganda being produced here. Mockingjay part 1 hits theaters on November 21st, 2014.

Nina Dobrev Talks Vampire Diaries Season 6 With Parade Magazine!

Nina Dobrev chatted with Parade Magazine about season six of The Vampire Diaries, her upcoming project ‘Let’s Be Cops,’ fashion, and more! The 25-year-old, who plays Elena Gilbert on the hit supernatural show, talks about what she’d like to see happen with her character now that Damon is on the other side, but is keeping quiet about the script so far, saying, “they didn’t give me the script—I get it tomorrow—so I have no idea what’s happening. Except for the fact that I will be returning, that’s for sure.” Check it out below!

Elena GIlbert

The cliffhanger this past season was killer—literally! Is there hope for fans of Damon and Bonnie?
“I think they knew I would be doing all of these interviews today, so they didn’t give me the script—I get it tomorrow—so I have no idea what’s happening. Except for the fact that I will be returning, that’s for sure.”

The Other Side is gone, what kind of repercussions will that have?
“Well, for one, when someone dies they’re dead for good, they can’t come back. They’re dead, they’re gone since there’s no place for them to come back from. So that’s going to be one of the main repercussions of the other side disappearing.”

What do you want to see happen for Elena in the upcoming season?
“I don’t know. I’d like to see how she copes and deals with things post-Damon and see how she’s going to be able to move on and if she’ll have a normal life. Everything in Elena’s life is complicated, it’s never easy, everyone’s dying around her.”

If you could only have one supernatural power/trait of Elena’s as a vampire, which would you pick?
“Compelling. I’d like to be able to compel people. I’d like to be able to get everything I want and mind control everyone. ‘Look into my eyes…’ [Laughs]”

On the show you’ve played several roles thanks to being a doppelgänger, who are you most like: Elena or Katherine?
“I think I’m a combo of both. I have a little of both of them in me, I guess.”

Elena and Katherine have such different styles, do you work with the costume team on the show to create looks for each character?
“I do, yeah. That’s also a collaboration, they’re characters I’ve created so I work with the wardrobe designer on the show to help design the looks on the show as well. It’s cool. I love fashion and I love clothes and so collaborating and putting pieces together is a passion that I have.”

8 Things to Know About The Giver‘s Brenton Thwaites

In just under a month the film adaptation of Lois Lowry’s young adult novel The Giver hits theaters. On August 15th you’ll get to see Jonas come to life, but before you do there are some things you should know about the actor who plays the main protagonist, Brenton Thwaites! Teen.com has an exclusive new interview with the actor where he chats about his audition process, his co-stars, and more.

Brenton Thwaites
Teen: What was the audition process like? Did you have to screen test with anyone else from the cast?
Brenton: “I did, I had to screen test with Cameron and Odeya. I had to audition about ten times and I had no idea I had the role by even by the tenth time. Each time I came back, I was really fighting for the role and trying new things. Phil [Noyce, the director] and I developed a relationship and a bond during these times. I learned a lot and Phil and I learned to work with each other and I think that’s what got me over the line.”

Teen: Are you a big Taylor Swift fan? What was your reaction when you found out you’d be in the same movie as her?
Brenton: “I am! I was excited!”

Teen: You also starred in Maleficent recently. What was it like working in the same movie as Angelina Jolie?
Brenton: “Working with such experienced actors, it’s always a great learning opportunity. I learn from every situation… Each in different ways but always try to fully embrace the opportunity in front of me.”
